Justin is an award-winning furniture and lighting designer hailing from Oakland, California. He has design in his blood, coming from a long line of architects, designers, and builders. Growing up in North Carolina it was not his intention to go into the design field but all it took was one furniture design class at Savannah College of Art and Design for him to realize his true calling and passion.

Since graduating at the top of his class with a Batchelor of Fine Arts, Justin has had a wide array of work experience in the design field, ranging from design engineering, project management, furniture, lighting, and accessory design, and most recently as the Director of Product Development for Selamat Designs, a wholesale furniture company.

In his tenure as a designer, he has won multiple Pinnacle Awards from the International Society of Furniture Designers, Winner of Best in Show at Highpoint Market and Best in Show at New York Now by the International Furnishings and Design Association, along with countless award nominations. He has also designed private collections for Anthropologie, The Hudson Bay Company, Hollywood at Home, as well as License collections for Justina Blakeney, Morris and Company, and Museums of New Mexico.
