Morris & Co. Collection
A collection inspired by the designs of the British heritage brand. Morris + Co. was founded in 1861 by William Morris, an artist who valued simplicity, craftsmanship and sustainable home décor, heavily inspired by flora and fauna.
A selection of Morris + Co.’s internationally recognized designs have been reinterpreted by Selamat as furniture, lighting and accessories, beginning a new chapter in the ongoing history of the Morris + Co. design library.
Each product in the collection is handcrafted and draws from the 158-year-old Morris & Co. design archive: highlights include Strawberry Thief, the internationally-recognized print wrapped on the Steamer Collection, an oversized rattan and brass motif applied to the Poppy Armoire, and the modern interpretation of Morris’ Sussex chair, reimagined as the Kelmscott Dining Collection.
Designs in the collection have been nominated for and awarded many awards including winner of two Pinnacle Awards from the International Society of Furniture Designers and Winner of Best in Show at Highpoint Market and Best in Show at New York Now by the International Furnishings and Design Association.
